Our family was looking for the perfect beach house to spend vacations with family and friends. We wanted to be on the Louisiana coast because of the great fishing and seafood and proximity to New Orleans. Grand Isle was the perfect fit. When none of the camps we looked at had everything a modern family is looking for, we decided to build our own. The 3 master bedrooms with full bathrooms give multiple families their own private space, while a great room and porch overlooking the beach on the Gulf of Mexico are the perfect place to socialize.
It does not get much better than sipping drinks on the porch while watching the dolphins and shrimp boats roll in the waves.
Wine Down is a beachfront camp built in 2016 that has amazing views of the gulf!
Every structure on Grand Isle was damaged by the 150mph category 4 winds and Wine Down was no exception. There was 6 feet of storm surge underneath and the structure had wind damage. Luckily 99% of the repairs are complete and we are open for business! Unfortunately, of the 20 houses in our area only 4 survived.
